Who we are

Information before you buy

Written ingredient and allergen information is provided for each product before you purchase, and again with your order where required. Product packing sheets and label information are produced from the same records.

If you have an allergy, intolerance or coeliac disease

Please contact us before ordering at chef@bakesbycr.co.uk or +44 7896 740755 so we can discuss whether a product is suitable for you. Do not rely on the product name, photographs or a typical recipe — only the written information for the specific product should be used to decide.

Our kitchen handles multiple allergens

Our bakes are handmade in a home kitchen that handles multiple allergens, including (depending on the product) cereals containing gluten, eggs, milk, nuts, peanuts, soya and sulphites. Because of this, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from traces of any allergen unless we have explicitly verified this for the specific product. Suitability must be assessed using the verified written information for the specific product you want to order.

Dietary labels and allergies are different

A dietary label such as “vegan” describes ingredients, not allergen safety. A vegan-labelled product can still contain, or carry traces of, an allergen. Never treat a dietary label as proof that a product is safe for somebody with an allergy.

Verified information only

Ingredient and allergen information is only treated as confirmed once the owner has personally checked it against the actual recipe and preparation process. Until then it is treated as a draft and the product cannot be ordered. Any label or product information that has not been verified is clearly marked DRAFT and must be reviewed before use.
